Here are seven notable wonders from the Bible// Pastor M.Gaudin

There are seven notable wonders from the Bible:

1.Creation of the World: In the book of Genesis, the Bible describes how God created the heavens, the earth, and all living things in six days. This act of divine creation is considered one of the greatest wonders in the Bible.

2.Noah's Ark: The story of Noah's Ark is found in the book of Genesis. God instructed Noah to build an ark to save himself, his family, and a pair of every animal from a worldwide flood. The preservation of life through this event is a remarkable wonder.

3.The Parting of the Red Sea: In the book of Exodus, Moses led the Israelites out of Egypt, and when they were pursued by Pharaoh's army, God miraculously parted the Red Sea, allowing them to cross on dry land. Once the Israelites were safely across, the waters returned, drowning the pursuing Egyptian army.

4.The Ten Plagues of Egypt: Also from the book of Exodus, God sent ten devastating plagues upon Egypt to convince Pharaoh to release the Israelites from slavery. These plagues included turning the Nile River into blood, swarms of locusts, and the death of the firstborn.

5.The Walls of Jericho: In the book of Joshua, the city of Jericho was miraculously conquered by the Israelites. They marched around the city for seven days, and on the seventh day, the walls of Jericho collapsed without any physical attack.

6.The Virgin Birth of Jesus: In the New Testament, the Gospel of Matthew and the Gospel of Luke recount the miraculous conception of Jesus Christ. He was born to the Virgin Mary, making it a central tenet of Christian faith.

7.The Resurrection of Jesus: Another pivotal event in Christianity is the resurrection of Jesus Christ after his crucifixion. According to the Gospels, Jesus rose from the dead three days after his burial, signifying victory over sin and death.

These are just a few examples, and there are many other miraculous and wondrous events throughout the Bible that continue to inspire and captivate people around the world.

1. Accept what you cannot change. This is one of the most important lessons in Meditations. It is important to accept the things that are out of our control, such as the weather or other people's behavior.

2. Focus on the present moment. The past is gone and the future is uncertain, so it is important to focus on the present moment. This will help us to be more mindful and aware of our surroundings.

3. Live in accordance with nature. Marcus Aurelius believed that we should live in accordance with nature. This means living a simple life and being grateful for what we have.

4. Be kind to yourself and others. We should be kind to ourselves and others, even when they are not kind to us. This will help us to live a more harmonious and peaceful life.

5. Don't sweat the small stuff. It is important not to sweat the small stuff. This means not worrying about things that are out of our control or that are not important in the grand scheme of things.

6. Be grateful for what you have. We should be grateful for what we have, even if it is not much. This will help us to appreciate the good things in our lives and to be less focused on the negative.

7. Live a meaningful life. We should live a life that is meaningful to us. This means finding something that we are passionate about and pursuing it with all our heart.

8. Control your thoughts. We are not our thoughts. We can choose which thoughts we focus on and which ones we let go of.

9. Be disciplined. Discipline is essential for living a good life. It means doing the things that we need to do, even when we don't want to do them.

10. Be mindful. Mindfulness is the practice of paying attention to the present moment without judgment. It is a powerful tool for living a more peaceful and fulfilling life.

These are just a few of the many lessons that can be learned from Meditations. If you are looking for a book that will help you to live a more mindful and meaningful life, then I highly recommend reading it.

Twelve Disciples of Jesus

The twelve disciples of Jesus, also known as the apostles, were his closest followers and played a significant role in his ministry. According to the New Testament of the Bible, the twelve disciples were:

Simon Peter: Peter was a fisherman and is considered the leader of the twelve. Jesus referred to him as "the rock" on which he would build his church.

Andrew: Andrew was Peter's brother and also a fisherman. He was one of the first disciples called by Jesus.

James, son of Zebedee: James was the brother of John. He, along with his brother, was known as one of the "Sons of Thunder."

John, son of Zebedee: John was the brother of James and often referred to as "the disciple whom Jesus loved." He played a significant role in the early Christian community.

Philip: Philip was from Bethsaida and was known for his logical and practical thinking. He was instrumental in bringing Nathanael to Jesus.

Bartholomew: Also known as Nathanael, Bartholomew was initially skeptical about Jesus but became a dedicated disciple.

Matthew: Matthew, also known as Levi, was a tax collector before becoming a disciple of Jesus. He is traditionally associated with writing the Gospel of Matthew.

Thomas: Thomas is best known for his doubts and insistence on seeing Jesus' wounds after his resurrection. He is often referred to as "Doubting Thomas."

James, son of Alphaeus: Also known as James the Less, he is sometimes identified as the brother of Matthew. Not much is known about him.

Thaddaeus: Also called Lebbaeus or Judas, not to be confused with Judas Iscariot. He is mentioned briefly in the Gospels but his role is not well-documented.

Simon the Zealot: Simon was called the Zealot, which suggests he may have been associated with the Jewish nationalist Zealot movement.

Judas Iscariot: Judas was the disciple who infamously betrayed Jesus to the religious authorities for thirty pieces of silver. His betrayal led to Jesus' crucifixion.

12 Lessons from the book “Intentional Living"

12 lessons from the book “Intentional Living"

1. If you want to live a life that matters, don't start when you get good; start now so you become good.

2. Every time we choose action over ease  we develop an increasing level of self-worth, self-respect, and self-confidence.

3. We should never let what we cannot do keep us from doing what we can do. A passive life does not become a meaningful life.

4. One of the great ironies of life is that; if give up your life, you gain it. If you help others, you benefit. If you lose yourself, you find yourself.

5. The Secret of Your success is determined by your daily agenda!

6. To be significant all you have to do is make a difference with others wherever you are , with whatever You have, day by day.

7.  The only way to have a good life is to have good relationships.

8. The problems look too big for us to tackle. We say to ourselves, “What can I do? I’m just one person.” One person is a start. One person can act and make a change by helping another.

9. Action is what converts human dreams into significance.

10. When you live each day with intentionality, there’s almost no limit to what you can do. You can transform yourself, your family, your community, and your nation.

11. One person can inspire a second person to be intentional, and another. Those people can work together. They can become a movement. They can make an impact.

12. When you intentionally use your everyday life to bring about positive change in the lives of others, you begin to live a life that matters.

6. Be patient. Parenting is a marathon, not a sprint. There will be times when you want to give up. But if you're patient and persistent, you'll eventually reach your goals.

7. Be teachable. No one knows everything. Be willing to learn from your mistakes and from the mistakes of others. The more you learn, the better equipped you'll be to lead your family.

8. Be humble. Don't think that you have all the answers. Be willing to ask for help when you need it. Your family will respect you more if you're humble.

9. Be grateful. Be thankful for the blessings in your life, including your family. Express your gratitude to your family members often.

10. Pray for your family. Ask God to bless your family and to help you to be the best husband, father, and leader that you can be.

I hope these lessons help you in your journey to be a strong father and leader.
